We spent a very nice long weekend with the family there. Rooms are partially renovated, all very clean. Generous breakfast and the food highly recommended. We felt very comfortable. Super nice guests.

The food is very good

Very nice beer garden, schnitzel tapped by the chef and fried in the pan, nice landlady, good wine and cheap prices. We'd love to come back!

1 star with a big question mark, had booked this hotel and received email for confirmation On arrival the hotel was closed, we heard people talking by the window, after repeatedly ringing the bell we drove on, NO ONE spoke to us or let us know .here we will never come back !!!

The stay in this hotel was both very cheap and the food more than good (quality and price) so that a further visit is already being considered. Many thanks to the hotelier family.

Essen was great, nice owner

I only rate the restaurant because I do not know or cannot judge the hotel. 1. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable! 2. The baked camembert is a real dream and by far the best I have ever eaten and possibly will still be served in my life. NO other restaurant comes even close. 3. All other dishes that I have tried so far are also TOP and always very lovingly decorated. 4. The hosts are great, down-to-earth, open and sincere people. 5. Both the restaurant and the beer garden are places to relax. If it were age-related, I would still be happy to come 20 years from now. :-)

It could be 5 stars if ... the waitress was a little friendlier. This does not create guests. Kitchen from 5 p.m. - but actually only from 5:30 p.m. Lt. Card for some dishes salad as a side dish. Vegetables are actually served without announcement. French fries are served in a bowl - but since the main course is served on plates that are too small, you have to eat them from the bowl. Otherwise very decent dishes with good quality. Nice selection. Pleasant prices. We will definitely test it again and if you are around, you can stop here with peace of mind.

The rooms are so noisy that I understood every word of the family with children in the room next to me, even though they were talking at a normal volume. The friendliness was just not unfriendly. Cleanliness ok. Everything a little antiquated. Heating my bathroom was adventurous. However, only one of the device's 3 heat settings worked. And so it took about 30 minutes that I just stopped shaking while moving. The middle support of the bed was broken, causing it to sag a little. Price level: You couldn't ask for more for this very simple equipment for a room.

A room for one night is ok, although very nice staff - but the bed was a disaster, once turning and making a lot of noise. Bathroom and rooms from the 60s. WLAN only in the front rooms, in the place or in the back room neither E-Plus nor D2 reception .... In the bathroom an extremely loud deduction ....
